Community Guidelines

You must be 18 or older to use Palytt, including to join a meetup by invite. Don't create an account for, invite, or bring into a Palytt meetup anyone under 18. We close accounts that belong to minors.

Share food, drinks, restaurants, dishes, lists, and recommendations you have the right to post. Food photos should show food or drink as the main subject unless a feature clearly allows another type of content.

• No harassment, threats, bullying, hate speech, or targeted abuse.
• No nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, self-harm promotion, or exploitation — and never any content that involves or sexualizes minors.
• No illegal goods, scams, malware, phishing, spam, or fake engagement.
• No private personal information, doxxing, non-consensual images, or stalking.
• No copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy violations.

People with allergies and dietary needs rely on what they read here. Don't claim a dish is free of an allergen, safe for a restriction, or halal, kosher, vegan, or gluten-free unless you have good reason to believe it — and never state it as a guarantee. Don't knowingly post false ingredient or allergen information. When you're unsure, say so.

• Reviews and ratings should reflect your own real experience.
• Clearly disclose free meals, discounts, gifts, affiliate links, paid posts, restaurant partnerships, or any other connection to a restaurant — in the post itself, where people will notice it.
• No fake reviews, review swaps, reviews you were paid to write without disclosing it, or reviews of your own restaurant or a competitor's.

Don't impersonate another person, a restaurant, a brand, or Palytt, and don't misrepresent your affiliation with anyone. Parody and fan accounts must say so clearly. One personal account per person.

• Treat the people you meet with respect. Harassment, threats, and unwanted advances aren't allowed online or at the table.
• Don't pressure anyone to share their location, contact details, or to go somewhere private.
• Show up for plans you commit to, or cancel in the app so others know.
• Only invite people by text who know you and would expect to hear from you. Never use invites for promotions.
• Meet in public places, arrange your own transportation, and leave if you feel unsafe. Palytt doesn't run background checks on anyone.
• Report anyone who makes you feel unsafe. If you're in danger, call 911 first.

You can report posts, comments, messages, and users from their menus, and block users from profiles and conversations. For urgent safety, copyright, privacy, or account concerns, email support@palytt.com.

We review reports within 24 hours. When content breaks these guidelines we remove it, and we remove the users who post it. We use automated tools, including AI moderation that screens posts, together with human review. Depending on what happened, we may remove content, limit distribution, disable features, suspend or permanently ban accounts, preserve evidence, or contact law enforcement.

If you think we made a mistake about your content or account, email support@palytt.com with the post ID or your account's username and a short explanation. A person will review it, and we'll restore content or accounts when we got it wrong.
